Since 2005, the Charitable Foundation of the Grand Lodge of Maine has supported the Maine Veterans’ Homes. Dedicated men have given thousands of hours to spend time with and attend to the needs of those who bravely and selflessly served our country.
Maine Veterans’ Homes have six facilities across the state – Augusta, Bangor, Caribou, Machias, South Paris, and Scarborough and a Veterans’ Administration Hospital in Togus – who have collectively received over $60,000 in support from the Charitable Foundation for items such as the following:
• Coffee and donuts with the residents
• Items needed to enhance daily life
• Additions to general living areas
• Recognition items for facility staff
• Personal items
• Gardening supplies
• Funding for outings for residents
The Charitable Foundation of the Grand Lodge of Maine is proud to support the heroes of Maine and their families who have served our country.
