Maine Masonic Charitable Foundation Supports Goodwill’s Veterans Fund

Christopher DiSotto, Trustee of the Maine Masonic Charitable Foundation, presented a $10,000 donation to the Goodwill’s Veterans Fund on behalf of the Foundation.  The Veterans Fund recognizes the unmet needs of veterans and their family members by coordinating efforts with existing services to provide additional resources to ease their path.  The goal is simple, to meet the immediate needs of veterans and their families, to fill the gap, connect, and move forward.  The Maine Masonic Charitable Foundation’s financial support will assist them with their mission knowing that each and every dollar will go directly to veterans in need of relief.  These funds also make the Foundation a sponsor of the Little Black Dress Event which raises money for the Goodwill’s Veterans Fund and is held each April in Portland.  This year the event raised nearly $75,000 which is a huge milestone.  Along with all the great work of the Veterans Fund, the Foundation’s logo will be front and center on all the partner boards in each of the 29 Goodwill retail stores through Northern New England.  This partnership is truly an amazing opportunity for Masons to put into action the tenets of our institution.
