The Master Architect Society

The Master Architect Society was established in order to recognize the generosity of those who have remembered the Maine Masonic Charitable Foundation in their estate plans through a bequest or other planned gifts.

The Society is comprised of a group of Masons (and friends) who, following in the footsteps of so many before them, provided for the Craft in their wills to help ensure the continued viability of Freemasonry in Maine. Since June 1, 1820, when the delegates of twenty-four Lodges assembled at Mason’s Hall in Portland and proceeded to organize the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Maine, the Grand Lodge has relied on your generosity in order to strengthen Masonic contributions to communities in all parts of our state.

Now, through the Foundation, it is our privilege to carry forward the brotherhood and good will of those who have guided Maine Masonry through so many generations.  Your gift of any amount to the Foundation in your will, trust, or as a beneficiary of a retirement account entitles you to membership in the Master Architect Society.  You’ll receive special recognition and an opportunity to join us for our annual reception.
